Score Overview in SkillShark: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Reports

  • Go to the navigation bar on the left-hand side and select ‘Reports.’

  • Click on the 'Score Overview' report.


Step 2: Customize View

  • First, we will select the events to pull scores from. Click the blue 'Events' button.

  • Select one or multiple events by clicking the box beside them.

  • You can also filter by player list or position. Or, if you click 'More Filters,' you can filter your view by team, jersey colour, or evaluation category.


Step 3: Customize Additional Settings

  • Click the 'Settings' tab on the top left-hand side. From here, you can select:

    • If you want comments/videos to be included

    • How you want to view scores (by player, evaluator, or metric)

    • Whether you want scores averaged across all evaluators or just shown for a specific evaluator.


Step 4: Select Metrics

  • Click on the 'Metrics' tab (beside the 'Settings' tab) to choose which metrics you want to see in the report.

  • Check off exactly which evaluation categories, skills, and individual metrics you wish to include.


Step 5: Viewing & Editing Scores

  • Once everything is set, you will see all scores at a glance (along with any comments or videos tied to a metric, if you opted to see those in the report settings).


  • To get more information on a specific score, click on it. You will see a breakdown of that score by event & evaluator.

  • If a score was entered incorrectly, you can fix it using the slider button.

  • Click on the 'Comments' tab to view & edit any comments.


Step 6: Score Audit

  • This report includes a score audit tool that flags scores that are unusually high or low.

  • Click the settings icon beside 'Score Audit' to set the sensitivity.

  • Select 'Detect Missing Scores' if you want that feature turned on as well.


  • Click on the 'Score Audit' button (top left) to go through the flagged scores one by one.

  • Click on an individual score to see more detail (it will be highlighted in yellow if it is flagged).


  • From here, you can change the score if it was entered incorrectly, or ignore it and move on to the next flagged score.
