Custom Jerseys in SkillShark: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Add Users to Group

• Note: You must be the owner of the group to complete this action.

• Navigate to the left-hand menu and select 'Users & Roles.'

• Click on the 'Invite' button in the top right-hand corner. 

• Type in the email of the person you wish to invite, and select whether they will be an admin or evaluator. 

  • Admin- Able to manage all details within the group and add evaluators.

  • Evaluator- Enter scores for the events they are invited to.

• To change their role, click the 'Edit' button. To remove them from the group, click the 3 dots beside the 'Edit' button.

Step 2: Create Custom Roles & Edit Permissions

• Note: This feature is only available on the Legend plan.

• Click 'Roles' in the top-left corner and then click 'Add Role.'

  • Check-in Manager- Allows the user to manage checked-in players at events and create & edit players/

  • Coach- User can manage only the players they are given access to, create events, and view reports for their players. For example, you might want to give each team's coach access to their own roster so they can only see their players and run mid-season evaluations to track progress.

  • Custom- Create your own role from scratch.

• To create any of these roles, click on the role and confirm which permissions you want it to have. You can also change the name or colour of the role.

Step 3: Edit Custom Roles

• At any point, click the 'Edit' button beside a user's name to change their role.

• You can also preview any role to double-check that the right permissions are in place and see exactly how that role would see it. To do this, click the three dots beside the 'Edit' button.

• If you want to limit access to any user, click on the 'User' button at the top-left.

• Select one or multiple users. Click on the blue 'Bulk Actions' button, then click 'Assign to Player Lists.'

• Some organizations use this to limit access based on each division or team.
