In-App Message Center

Admins and owners can now send direct messages to players and evaluators directly from within the SkillShark app. Keep athletes and evaluators updated on team placement decisions, practice schedules, and more without leaving the SkillShark platform.

Key Functionality

1. Send Messages by Segments:
   • Send messages to all players.
   • Send messages to specific player lists.

   • Create and save message templates for future use.
     
     
4. Preview Messages:
   • Send test emails to preview your messages before sending them out.

How to Use the New SkillShark Message Center — Step by Step Guide

Step 1: Accessing the Message Center

1. Log in to Skillshark.
2. Navigate to the Message Center from the main dashboard.
   
   

Step 2: Composing a Message

1. Click on “Compose New Message.”
   
2. Choose the Segment:
   • Select “All Players” to message all players.
   • Select a specific player list.
   • Select “Evaluators” to message evaluators.
     
     

Step 3: Using Templates

1. Create a Template:
   • Click on “Templates.”
   • Save the template for future use.
     
2. Apply a Template:
   • Select a saved template from the template list.
     
     

Step 4: Personalizing the Message

1. Write your message in the text box.
   
2. Use Variables:
   • Insert variables (e.g., [PlayerName], [EvaluatorName]) to personalize the message.
     
     

Step 5: Previewing the Message

1. Click on “Send Test Email.”
2. Review the test email to ensure everything looks correct.

Step 6: Sending the Message

1. Click “Send.”
2. Confirm the recipients and message details.
3. Send the message.
   
   

Step 7: Viewing Message History

1. Navigate to the “Message History” tab.
2. View all previously sent messages.
3. Check the status of each message:
   • Who received the message?
   • Who viewed the message?
   • Who responded to the message?
