Comparing Strengths vs. Weaknesses in SkillShark: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Navigate to Reports

  • Go to the navigation bar on the left-hand side and select ‘Reports.’

  • Scroll down to ‘Strengths & Weaknesses.’


Step 2: Filter by Event

  • Click on the ‘Events’ button on the top left-hand side.

  • Select all of the applicable events (i.e., tryouts, mid-season evaluations, clinics, skills sessions, etc) that you would like to view data for.


Step 3: Select Skills

  • On the top right-hand side, click on the blue ‘Select Metrics’ button.

  • Select the metrics you want to use to compare players’ strengths & weaknesses.

  • Click on the ‘X’ button after choosing the metrics. Changes will be auto-saved.

  • Note: Only 5 metrics can be chosen at a time.

Step 4: Select Players

  • Select which players you want to assess by clicking on the appropriate names on the left-hand side.

  • Alternatively, you can search for a player’s name in the ‘Search’ bar on the top left-hand side.

  • Note: Up to 3 players at a time can be selected.


Step 5: Compare Athletes

  • Use data collected to analyze players’ strengths and weaknesses.

  • These reports are great for choosing final draft picks.
