Developmental Resources in SkillShark: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Add a New Resource
Navigate to the 'Developmental Resources' section using the navigation bar.
Click on the blue ‘Add Resource’ button on the top right-hand side.
Step 2: Provide Basic Details
Include a link to the resource. This could be a YouTube video or a PDF link.
Name the resource.
Select the type of resource.
Add a description for better context (optional field).
Step 3: Set Distribution Rules
Set rules for distributing the resource. Choose between:
1) Players: All players can receive this resource, or you can select a player list for sole distribution.
2) Score: Select whether to base this score on a skill (i.e., skating) or metric (i.e., starts within the skill skating). Then choose the criteria. And set the score using the slider.
Note: In most cases, you will want to distribute a developmental resource when a player’s score ‘is less than‘ or ‘is less than or equal to.‘
5. View Developmental Resources in Reports
On a player’s individual report, any developmental resources will be at the bottom of the report card under ‘Recommended Resources.’
Players can view these recommended resources at any time.
